I ended up with every team in the AFCW with a winning record. Yeesh. Ravens at 12-5 with a 2-4 division record? lol. No winning record in the AFCS? Possible I guess. How bad is the NFCS too? That Saints one is gonna be way off haha.

The 49ers will be the #1 seed?  What is your reasoning here?

I wish I had one. I don't actually believe that either, but that's the way the cookie crumbled when I quickly did this. Dallas and Philly both won't go 13-4 either.

For me if Lance is the QB they won't even win that division, let alone the #1 seed.   It will be interesting to see who is under center after TC if they keep Jimmy G.

Oh, actually, on that note, I do think JG is the starter

And, here I thought I was high on the NFCE….. thinking there might be a 12 and 11 game winner and then Washington who could get close to or reach double digit wins if Wentz is focused and plays even solid ball.

If the NFCE has one 13 game winner I’ll eat my shorts. If we have 2 with a third team close to double digit wins, then my brain might melt. 😧 That would also suck to go 13-4 only to get the 5th seed and have to travel to Tampa again to play Brady in what will probably be perfect passing weather lol.

The main ones I disagree with are the Saints and Bengals.

I can’t see a world even with the Saints losing Winston for the season right this second that they only win 3 games. Even in that scenario they would still probably be able to win 5 or something. They still will have a top 3 or so defense in the league like they have the past 2 years. Their WR corps is way better than what they trotted out last year. Penning could struggle a bit as a rookie especially in pass pro and the Kamara suspension will hurt them early. I really hope you are right cause that would be awesome from an Eagles perspective owning their pick. I’ve mentioned a couple times in our forum that I see them as a probable wildcard team. Would love to be wrong.

Bengals being the 11th seed and 2 games behind the Browns just seemed odd. I get their is a hangover a lot of times after getting to the Super Bowl, but I liked the offseason they had and I think they are a young hungry team that won’t get complacent with Burrow at the helm. He feels like a young Brady to me where Cincy will almost always be in the double digits wins, especially now with the extra 17th game.

I’m guessing you are assuming Watson isn’t suspended the whole year or at all (until 2023) maybe?

EDIT: Went back and read your text before the predictions after my post and you mentioned the Saints one could be way off lol. Cool cool.

Are we already writing Lance off? I didn’t want him to start his first year in the league and I think his finger injury could’ve affected his accuracy the bit of time he did play last year. I still think he has a lot of talent and if he does have to start his legs will make their running game more dangerous like Hurts did for the Eagles last year. Niners upside is higher with Lance if he performs well passing wise then it is with Jimmy, but the floor is also a decent bit lower as well.

I'll eat some of mine too 🤣

I too disagree with what happened on my end with the Saints. There's just no way. I didn't go back and change anything though. The Bengals I am okay with having that "Super Bowl loser" dip we've seen in the past.

I think mentally I did it as the first 8 games.

I don't think anyone is writing him off but not often does a team win big with a first year QB under center and if the 9ers get the #1 seed with Lance that would be big.

Oh yeah I’m not expecting them to hit 13 wins. Maybe a 10 or 11 win team if he plays well. I’ve just seen a lot of people lower on him, so that’s why I asked.

Gotcha. I have a feeling his suspension if it comes this year will be no less than 12 games, but if it was only 8, then I guess I could see that for Cleveland as their first 6 games is pretty easy before facing Baltimore and Cincy heading into their bye in week 9.

I tend to do that lol and maybe that explains it. You just were picking on the teams you liked more which led to stuff like that Ravens 0-6 in division and all the high records and really low ones.

pretty much. I can honestly say if I was guessing records without looking at games individually I probably would have a very different list

This post is 100x more effort than I put into making my picks. I literally went through every game in the 2022 season in 10 minutes.

May I ask what 4 games you picked the Colts to win? It seems you picked against the Colts more so then picking for the opponent.

The Bears may have one of the worst rosters in football and I would bet money that the Vikings at least have 8 wins unless major injuries occur.
