For me if Lance is the QB they won't even win that division, let alone the #1 seed.   It will be interesting to see who is under center after TC if they keep Jimmy G.

What makes you think Lance has no shot of breaking out? Did you think Lamar and Mahomes had no chance of breaking out in 2018 and 2019? Lance’s skillset is legit bananas and teams have zero tape on him like they do Lamar, giving him a massive advantage the first year he starts. The scheme Kyle has made for him will also have zero tape for teams to study.

You believe Dallas will have the best record in the NFC?   I think they'll most likely win the East but the Bucs or Rams should be the favorites.

If asked before filling in every game - no. But that's what it says when I went through every single game. It never aligns with how I actually feel. I'd say Packers, Rams then Cowboys or Bucs, if asked.

The Bears may have one of the worst rosters in football and I would bet money that the Vikings at least have 8 wins unless major injuries occur.

I would agree. I put almost zero thought into each game selection and just clicked my way through. I would have thought the Bears would be at 5 wins and the Vikings 8-10 if I was just picking records rather than game by game.

As soon as I saw someone post that Green Bay will go 2-4 in the NFCN, I stopped paying attention. There’s literally zero reason to think that could possibly happen  minus a Rodgers season-ending injury. The dude blasts that division every year.

not defending the 2-4 in the NFCN but.... He does have no weapons so I wouldn't say ZERO reasons.

Not downplaying the loss of Davante at all here, but he’s still the most efficient passer in the league and has two very very good running backs behind him. Green Bay will still score points like they always do. It just won’t look as effortless or pretty. It will be time consuming drives, and methodically moving downfield. Just a different path to the same result for the offense. Not to mention their defense should be improved from finishing 9th (I think?) last year. If this team has someone like Mac Jones as their QB, then I’d side with you. Aaron Rodgers can make **** happen with this squad. I’m only concerned with finally showing up when it matters most.

lol

"how dare you point out a weakness of my favorite team!"

*queue throwing players on my team under the bus*

Classic. Putting the obvious bait aside...

From Donald Driver to Greg Jennings to Jordy Nelson to Devante Adams, Aaron Rodgers has never not had an all pro receiver. In fact more often than not, those guys overlapped and he had at least two top all pro receivers. You can say that he will perform regardless, but since there is no evidence to back that up YET, it isn't any less or more valid a prediction than him having a down year (especially since he is also 38).

Um, alright.

With all due respect, what I said is far less egregious than typing in the Packers will go 2-4 in the NFCN. I literally said, “not to downplay the loss of Davante.” But if we wanna go down that route, we can. All the receivers you named were good to very good players. But I think most people would agree that they wouldn’t have been seen as those types of players if they didn’t have a guy like 12 throwing them the ball. As a matter of fact, we’ve seen proof of it. None of them were effective on other teams. James Jones even came back after spending time with Oakland and then led the league in touchdowns with Rodgers. There’s absolutely no precedent or reason to think Rodgers can’t do similar things with the receivers he has. So yeah, there’s way more evidence to support the notion that Rodgers will be fine with new receivers vs evidence to support the notion that he won’t be. I’m sure we’ve all heard the stat about his record without Davante, so I won’t bother throwing it out there. It’s as simple as this: quarterbacks of his level can make sh*t happen with various players around them.

Doesn’t matter if I’m a fan of the Packers or not. I’d say the same things for Mahomes and Brady, because they’re great quarterbacks as well.

*edit* “hes 38” he was mvp at 37 and 36. Again, more evidence goes against what you’re saying than for it.

Also, are you a patriots fan and thus said I threw a player on your team under the bus? I’ve never seen you post before so I don’t know your team. Mac Jones legit just came to mind because he’s an average starter. If you’re a Pats fan, my bad
