I'm 3 hours west, our rain is expecting to end at about 9, so maybe it ends at about 12 in Chicago?

Looks like the rain is gonna go until about 2-3 then give Chicago a brief respite before the storm does a counter clockwise turn around Lake Michigan and hit Chicago all over again.

Looking at the radar it would make sense to delay the start of the game and essentially just turn it into a 3pm game. They almost certainly won’t, but there’s a pocket there with almost no rain at all for a few hours. Keep the field tarped until like 1:30, allow for a full warmup and give the game its best chance to not be a slop fest.

Playing through a downpour is gonna be ugly football and is going to put guys at heightened injury risk. It’ll also probably going to destroy the playing surface which may not have even fully taken root yet.

Going to be a good test for the new turf...

I am sure the game plan was fairly simple anyway but with weather like this we need to run Monty into the ground and take our shots deep when they are there...not the weather to try and dink & dunk.
