Trevor Lawrence has arrived

We have a tough crowd in here, lol.

He's currently on pace for 4,000 yards (65% comp), 22 TD, 10 INT, and 5 rushing TD. That's a pretty significant leap from year one to year two. And I think it's pretty encouraging that he has shown signs of progress after his rookie year was essentially wasted under Urban Meyer.

He's primed for a year three breakout as he'll be in his second year in the same system under a good coach and he'll finally have a top tier WR1 in Calvin Ridley.

Agreed. He's made significant improvements in year 2 across the board. Literally across the board.

But because he hasn't been amazing means the team will give up on him by the end of next season to some. Right...

And he deserves a little more credit because of how bad the situation was under Urban Meyer, that would've broken a lot of guys.

I think next year is when we'll really have a grasp on if he's a franchise level QB or just an average starter. Expectations for young QB's have become too high because a few of them played well early on.
