Golden was fine playing on both sides.  Bud is a ROLB only unless something has changed.  give me Golden for a backup

If I remember correctly, didn’t Dupree play LOLB when Harrison was here and early in Watts career until they figure Watt was much better as LOLB. I could be wrong.

According to ProFootballReference, that is accurate.

Correct.  Bud was not very good until he switched to the right side.  Then he took off

I don’t know.  We’ll have to wait on the cost. This late in FA i think everyone is looking for a bargain.  Not sure he gets much.

Golden looked decent, but is 33.  Bud is a little younger.  As a rotational player I’m not as worried about his injury history.  I think Bud is a little more stout against the run and you have Herbig for passing downs.  I’m not sure Herbig has the sand in his pants to hold up as a 3 down OLB if there is a long term injury.

I’m not against Golden, but I think signing Bud would be on par.

please see my original post, if you are Khan in disguise

availability - start with that.

bud shouldn't have played at all when Harrison was here either.

Golden can play both sides, so he wins the versatility debate anyways, even on here for the bud fans

and despite doing better on the right side, he has had issues with injuries so is it worth the risk?

Now if they decided to have both Golden and Bud, thats a good roster for depth and might not cost much either.

We are drafting in the top 10 if we are getting Graham :-).  Ward will also be a top 3 pick.

I don't see a roster spot for him as it stands now. That could change, no doubt. Right now I'd say Najee, Warren, and Patterson are our top 3. If we keep 4, I could see him making it, but I don't know which position loses out if we keep 4. It'll be an interesting thing to monitor.

I think he will be a PS guy this year and push for a roster spot in 2025

I could see him being a ST guy and we carry 1 less DB than normal.
