Two defenses play some amazing football and FF is like nah son Hackett and Staley suck, Russ can’t cook lol.

Have we gone so far away from crediting good defenses. Not saying the coaches were blameless but Denver and LA played some good defense down stretch.

Not all low scoring games are the same. These offenses are terrible and are drastically underperforming to their talent.

BTW the rest of the MNF football slate this season looks pretty lackluster. Another testament that the league might just be on a lull with almost all it's squads.

Following this game especially I'm reminded of the notable clip of a fan flipping off the camera during the 1972 Raiders/Oilers matchup with the Raiders winning 34-0 in one of the worst MNF games ever. Pretty much sums up the season.

There is so much bad football this year, it’s ridiculous.

Apparently, for fantasy football, this is like the lowest league-wide scoring output in like 13 years, or something like that. If you take all positions, all teams, combine the points scored, it's the lowest in ages.

League-wide points per game is the lowest it's been since 2009.

So there is some actual statistical merit to the feeling I think everyone has that teams are not as good this year as usual.

Denver has a great defense (perhaps Chargers too, idk, haven’t followed them). But point is, we all knew this game would come down to a pop-warner level mistake and likely from the Broncos. And it did.

Hard disagree. You’re going to watch what HOF greatness does against an inexperienced novice.

(I’m talking about Bailey Zappe vs Fields btw)

defenses have adjusted to the passing game and QB/OC have yet to counter to those adjustments.

OL play is not that good with injuries and reshuffling

They have a good defense. And our offense is missing some key guys.

The contrast in appearance between the 2 teams is sort of funny.

Broncos score 16 points---24.7 talk about how absolutely embassarasingly abysmal they are
Chargers score 16 points--- Justin Herbert is amazing, solid, good team. Could make noise in the playoffs.

It took Troy Aikman until there was 3 mins left in the game to say a single negative thing about the Chargers after he spent the entirety of the game going IN on every Broncos offensive play when both teams were tied 16-16.

Probably because we had more high scoring games compared to Denver.

It’s weird. Even established teams are sort of underwhelming (Rams, Bucs, Packers, Ravens). The talent is there for McDaniels, Staley, Hackett, Stefanski (sort of). Yeah, you’d expect Eberflus or Lovie to be coaching some bad teams, but almost everyone seems to be underachieving except for the really good teams and a few up & comers in Saleh, McDaniel, and Daboll.  Carroll, Belichick, and Shanahan are doing fine.
