Acting like I'm saying something ridiculous..

The casinos have it:

1. Bucks

2. Celtics

3. Suns

4. 76ers

5. Nuggets/Warriors dead tie

On favorites to win the Championship

They were literally fighting to avoid the play-in until like 3 days ago.

They could still make the play-in. On the last day of the reg szn the Warriors literally haven't clinched a playoff spot yet. Now they would have to lose 3 gms in a row to miss it but still lol

What is your point? They haven’t cared much about the regular season as long as they get the sixth seed. Their effort falls off a cliff on the road. That should change in the playoffs. Second best defense at home, third worst on the road. They have also battled injuries all year and finally healthy, right here, right now. Suns and Warriors are the two best teams in the west heading into the playoffs, that’s why I say seeding doesn’t matter this year. The Nuggets and Grizzlies are likely both losing in the Semis.

My point is that not caring about the regular season, like you claim they don't, has kept them on the verge of missing the playoffs entirely...which makes no sense.

Don't get me wrong, I'm in agreement with the bettors that a fully healthy Warriors team is probably the #2 or #3 favorite to come out of the West behind Phoenix and right with Denver, but that doesn't mean they didn't care about the regular season at all and just wanted to make sure they got the 6th seed for...reasons.

They have to play on the road in the playoffs.

Then that’s all that matters. Warriors and Suns have the most talented teams in the west tournament.

You still have to win road games in the playoffs...I don't think we've ever seen a team win a championship after posting a losing record on the road.

The bettors are treating the Warriors like they treated the Bucs. We saw the bad season and how they barely made it into the playoffs. Just bc the Bucs had Brady and won a title was practically the same roster didnt mean they was going to turn on the switch in the playoffs and go on a deep run. The Warriors arent going to turn on a switch and go on a deep run. Can they win a playoff series? Yes. But they arent going to come out of the West. They struggled with a healthy squad and people just said its early. Then they got banged up and people said they were injured. The West is wide open but the Warriors are just like the Bucs in that they are fools gold this season. Dont bet on them in the playoffs bc you will lose your money just like people bet on Brady in back to back playoffs a lost. So much for never betting against Brady lol.

This is what everyone said last year about the Warriors entering the playoffs. Suns/Grizzlies are better, Warriors are good enough to win a series or two but not winning everything. Not as good as they use to be. Also same odds to win the NBA Championship both years entering the playoffs, +900 last year and +900 this year. The fact is the Suns, Warriors, and Bucks have the three most talented rosters entering the playoffs, and talent matters.

Even the Bucs struggled in 2020 before they got hot at the end and won the SB. So people was saying the same thing about them in 2021 and 2022 but those seasons felt different. This season feels different for the Warriors from the punch in the offseason to the injuries to the fact they can’t win road games which they will have to do to win series. I’m just not betting on them this season in the playoffs.

I think pretending the Warriors didn't care rather than the actual answer of a lot of them were hurt and their 2nd best player missed half the season is reductive, pointless, and burying the lede which is that if Wiggins doesn't play or isn't in game shape they have no chance.
