So - I’ve long theorized that Hannah McNair is getting more involved in the process.

So, my instinct seems to be on the right path. It just seems like we’re moving more decisively, we’re asking the right questions, our methods are deliberate and assured. Somebody has their hand on the wheel and we’re making the obvious choices - where in the past we did things so convoluted and indecisively, just no confidence that thinking was involved in any way.

I might not like Cal (I don’t dislike him, he’s just a simpleton) but I can get with #TeamHannah.

I have a buddy who’s an account executive for a private charter service. The Texans being an account holder. And supposedly Caserio was removed him the account….

This might have been mentioned before, but I think Ryans and Caserio try to work together for a year and if they don’t mesh we get a new GM in 2024.

Do teams ever start their GM search this late into their offseason? (Last time we got rid of a GM late in the off-season it lead us down a dark dark path)

This sounds eerily familiar to 2006 when the Texans hired Gary Kubiak as their head coach with Charley Casserly still as GM. They worked together for the draft (of which DeMeco was our 2nd round pick) and free agency before leaving a few months later. I still think it'd be silly to get rid of Caserio, but the GM and HC have to be on the same page. Also, that 2006 draft we had was probably one of the best we've had in team history. Mario Williams, DeMeco Ryans, Charles Spencer (who was great before injury), Eric Winston, Owen Daniels, Wali Lundy, and David Anderson.

Yeah that was a great draft. We made headlines by taking Williams over Bush but we rebuilt our defense and offensive line.

And we ended up drafting a future HC in that draft…

I wonder if we’ll be talking about Jalin Hyatt as a potential Texans HC in 2040… 😆
