Calamity_Cometh
I actually legitimately feel bad for Chargers fans. Like goddamn. It's either injuries, penalties, or coaching screwing them over. At least their QB position has been steady.

Hunter2_1
JC Jackson was a myth. BB makes Mills look top 20ish....he makes rookies more compatible than most 10 year vets. He's some sort of secondary whisperer. That said, hope JC comes back strong
Dr LBC
15 hours ago, Thelonebillsfan said: Knee Dislocation is probably the worst possible knee injury for someone playing professional sports to have, if it's a total dislocation that means he's likely torn several ligaments. That's the knee synovial joint, though - which I believe is also what Teddy had (an actual dislocated knee). What's been (at least initially) diagnosed here is a dislocated kneeCAP. Patellar dislocations are actually a relatively common injury for female athletes and in some cases don't even require surgery. Not trying to make this sound like a better or worse case scenario than people think, just don't want people conflating a kneecap dislocation with a total knee dislocation (and this is coming from someone who has suffered a total joint dislocation - and the tendon/ligament damage that came with it - from a sports injury in the past). Xenos
So his career is over? Or can he still make a comeback next year? Edited October 24, 2022 by Xenos

jrry32
That's bad. Very, very bad. Potential career-ending injury.

Most guys don't come back remotely the same player from it. A lot of guys retire not long after the injury. https://www.nfl.com/news/torn-patellar-tendon-no-longer-a-career-death-knell-0ap3000000716595

ET80
1 hour ago, Xenos said: So his career is over? Or can he still make a comeback next year? Woof. This is what I did to my right knee. He’s looking at a 12-18 month recovery time, the entire tendon tore and the kneecap isn’t anchored to the tib/fib anymore. There is significant swelling in the leg, that needs to subside before they can even get into his knee. This isn’t arthroscopic in nature - they’re going to have to butterfly his leg open to repair the tendon. That tendon is going to be locked into position for 6-8 weeks just to allow the sutures to reattach the tendon. Here’s to hoping there’s no additional damages to the ligaments - just a tendon tear is bad enough.
