We've had relatively bad luck this year in terms of injuries. But I think that's us being due. We've had relatively good luck with injuries for years. iknowcool
I feel bad for him, but if there is a silver lining, at least he got his bag before it happened. Especially considering he was a UDFA.
Leoric
With a 12-18 month recovery time table the best case scenario is I think if he retires and at least that helps massage the cap hit for the Chargers. Just a catastrophic signing that we got zero value from and will have dead money going forward. Edit: nevermind if he retires it just accelerates that dead money. That signing really is going to screw whoever the next GM is. Edited October 25, 2022 by Leoric

FinSting
Every guy in the NFL is one play away from a devastating injury, and injuries cannot be predicted. Sucks for the Chargers but glad this guy earned some big money first. Next man up.
Kip Smithers
Owners continue to skate by being cheap. It’s not acceptable for any business to not consider a safer working environment because of cost. So why does NFL not mandate that all fields are grass? The EPL play way more games than the NFL year round and no team is allowed to play on turf.
Soko
Didn’t Jack Conklin tear his last year? Different for a DB, either way.
