LAOJoe Posted January 3, 2023 Share Posted January 3, 2023 There is no way the NFL will deem the game a Bengals Win. It could be called no contest. Problem there is that the Ravens can no longer win the division. If the Bills play the Patriots, the Bengals vs Bills will need t be played later in the week and the playoff schedule adjusted. Yep and Bills will drop from the 1 seed to 2 seed, and the Bengals will stay at the 3 seed; unable to jump Buffalo since the Bills will still be a game up on them. Biggest issue is awarding the AFC North to the Bengals without the Ravens having an opportunity to win it. As much as we all care about football, I think the Bills happily will forfeit the 1 seed, home field and a bye in order to grieve and pray for their teammate. I don't think so. It wasn't even in the middle, each team had 1 drive. If it was the start of the 4th quarter maybe they'd just say whoever was winning, wins. But they won't do that here.
