I agree with getting a developmental guy mid-late rounds. I'm just curious what names you would prefer over Carr. Our OL is a mess, we need to keep pumping talent out through the draft. We may lose guys on defense too. I want Derek Carr first, he would bring us a in prime veteran QB who is borderline top 10-12 QB. He brings stability and respectability at QB and I don't think he will cost us a ton of draft picks as I see him probably getting released. I just don’t see the appeal though. Especially when you consider his lack of playoff production. It seems like a very high risk move for a small window that I’m not sure is really even as open as a lot of people think. I don’t see Lamar putting us over the top. He couldn’t take the Ravens where they want to go, I don’t see that changing here. And we can't count on Wilson., We have to get one before the draft., that is a for sure. Who knows what this going cost in draft picks & money.
