Yeah, Rodgers would be a short term rental. But some team may want to load up for a Super Bowl run. The NFCS has teams that might want to do that.

Regarding the team wanting to move on, the long time beat reporter reported it a few days ago and nobody in the front office is coming out to deny it or proclaim their commitment to Rodgers.

in other bonus.  14.75m x 4 = 58.3m.  There is other bonus option for 2024.

Correct.  and it can be spread out over the length of the contract to a max of 5 years.

So a new team will be getting Rodgers for around $30M when you spread those option bonus' out over the length of the contract and could be reduced further by adding a few void years for a team looking to make their big push to win a title

I think the prudent thing to consider is not believing everything you read on the internet.

This is a long time beat reporter with an axe to grind since he lost his inside access many years ago

Rodgers can become UFA after 2024 so two option bonuses to be converted becomes major issue.

dang!  I have been wrestling about restructuring Dak.    I rather to practice the strategy with Dak's departure after 2024 than play FA game but oh boy, I may need to improve cap space to try to get good FA player.

1m extra from gamble didn't suffice it.  grrr!!
