#Raiders UDFA RT Dalton Wagner vs 49ers: - 25 snaps - 0 pressures allowed - 89.3 PFF Grade (5th in NFL, 1st rookies) - 91.7 RBLK Grade (5th in NFL, 1st rookies) Wagner's RBLK grade is 11.7 points higher then 2nd

That would be wonderful for Muti and Wagner to step up!

You updated this depth chart yet homie you know that’s your official unofficial job here

Bolton will be in ahead of Burney imo, he’s very good on ST. Burney is PS at this point.

I don’t think we will go in with all inexperienced backups such as McClendon, Muti Wagner & Munford. I expect one of Herron/Bars to stick.

I can see Bryan Young on PUP.

Sims is a ST stud and take him as 6th WR.

Thought I'd drop this in as he talks a little about the roster makeup, his thoughts on roster building and cuts etc.

OK, now I'm going to say something that some of you may not agree with............... I like Josh McDaniels! 😲 I like the way he explains things and I don't get the feeling he has a massive ego.............I mean, all coaches have an ego right, but he seems quite down to earth here and relatable, he's not obscure in the way he explains things and I like that he mentions a long-term view a few times, picks up on closing a game out when in the lead so he's not got his head in the sand. I just get a good feeling from him. Whether that relates to success on the field we can only hope.

Obviously, I agree with you. A lot of the hate for JMD is centered around his coaching debut in Denver and the situation in Indy, which to me said more about Irsay than McDaniels.

The hate around here comes from high expectations after a fluky playoff appearance. He didn't meet expectations, coupled with his past and everyone wanted him gone immediately. Props to Davis for exercising patience because I think eventually this will come together. The team never quit last season and seems to have bought into the longterm vision of what these guys want to do.

Excited to see his growth this season. I think in time, he'll make people eat a lot of their words.

Time will tell. It’s certainly interesting to see a person in the public eye try to openly grow and learn from his mistakes. He’s been quite open about that.

I agree that he seems to have the locker room for the most part. The buy in looks to be there from senior players and there does appear to be a semblance of a culture emerging with the players they have brought in.

McZeig seem to be making sensible  decisions for the longer term now. My main regret is that they didn’t have the same approach last year. Feels like they wasted a year trying to chase a quick win, backing themselves to do a better job with what they inherited.

I think much of the fan base was lost as a result of that error of judgement. And I understand why that must’ve set off alarm bells, but I also understand why they did it and now they have course corrected, I feel like the direction of travel is the right one.

Turning that into a winning formula - especially in the AFC and in the West will be the test. And while I am feeling quite optimistic and - gun to my head - I think we might surprise this season, I could also see the whole thing implode as any success is contingent on many things going right. Plus….we the raiders!
