And they're scoring lots of points. I'm also considering TE's as receivers, given we run with two of them 95% of the time. Ok, that’s fair lol. They’re running with *** receivers

He is definitely more of an interior with the scheme we're going to be running. I think he can and will kick out to a 4i/5 Tech in certain fronts. I wouldn't mind him playing base LDE when we're not in Nickel and then transforming into our 3-Tech in the Nickel Package.

Same for DT too tbh if we just want a run stuffer. We need someone else at WR with actual NFL physical traits imo. This is why we should continue to bring guys in, iron always sharpens iron IMO

WR, OL, DL, LB, DB every year, multiple in a year if needed. TE/RB like every other or 2/3 years. QB as needed.

They might be setup for a nice return plus a guy on a rookie contract. It’s smart on many levels.

pscottdai
My bet for FA DT is Teair Tart. The connection with our new DC is there and he meets what our DC likes in DTs. Plus he is decent in both phases, run D and passing D. Edited January 19 by pscottdai
brownie man
I saw on PFF they had up signing A'shawn Robinson from LA. I think that could be a Berry type guy. Young, not too expensive, and may be undervalued because he was playing out of scheme in their 34 opposed to the 43.

He’ll be 28 so he’s got some experience and a ring so that would help but he’s also not so old he’s gonna regress.

Dawgpoun8017
If we are looking to fill the DT spot this year it needs to be done during Free Agency, this DT draft class is underwhelming to say the least, exception being Jalen Carter and Bresee Edited January 20 by Dawgpoun8017
Kiwibrown
AJ Green or Newsome to FS. Newsome would have amazing range with his speed and AJ Green has excellent ball skills and vision. In a cover 1 role it is more challenging and just as important as a corner
