I don't think it's anything big. Maybe some sort of language in the deal or something like that. I think if he failed a physical, we'd already know. The Athletic reached out to multiple league sources in an attempt to discover what those contract details could be, but none responded by the time this article was published. Again, there’s optimism that whatever prevented Garoppolo from officially joining the Raiders will be resolved, but the alternative must be considered. He may be worse than McG and he's on a fifth year option.
