Lets go get Amir Garrett! or maybe someone who hasn't really been talked about much, Sonny Gray. When he got traded to the Yankees a few years ago there was a rumor that the Cardinals offered the A's Piscotty + Weaver for Gray. So there has been interest there in the past. MOSteelers56 Posted July 30, 2019 Share Posted July 30, 2019 I think Carlson is one of those "upper level" good players for about 10 years. Maybe not a franchise cornerstone, but a Carpenter type. A really good second best option on an offense. I think someone from the Gorman and the lower minors gang will turn into a franchise type player.
