Curacao (South American nation) tied it with a grand slam, but Los Angeles won it with a walk-off home run. Final was 6-5. Hats off to all the kids who played in the tournament. After hitting 25 HR last year as a RS-FR, he has 9 in 13 games so far and is slashing .531/.631/1.224/1.855. I kind of get it. Keep the taxi squad fresh, rehab stints, tuneups for late signings, etc. MLB probably wants to scrap most of the minor leagues because they think it's cheaper to outsource player development to team complexes and stuff like Driveline.
