Keaton Mitchell to the Ravens as UDFA.... Damn. Kid is incredibly explosive and a perfect fit in a wide zone scheme.

Then again, our RB room is already 4 deep now with Roschon, Herbert, Foreman, and Homer as a depth guy.  Frankly just the top 3 of that are already going to tough to divide carries up between.

Gotta say, watching this post draft press conference, I really am very impressed with Ryan Poles. Initially last year I didn't find him to be as impressive but he genuinely seems to have a plan and wants to build through the draft with high character, athletic guys and isnt going to try and force a square peg into a round hole.  He talked about the DE position and said that he's aware of it being an issue but that the most important thing is getting a guy they know fits what they want to do, previously I feel our gms looked at a list of needs as more of a checklist regardless of the players.

I think it’s safe to say Poles & co value the 10 yard split of these guys over just about anything and don’t really care about the shuttle (I tend to agree with them)…

Darnell Wright – 10 yard - 1.75 seconds (9.00 RAS)

                               Shuttle – 4.72 seconds (6.34 RAS)

Gervon Dexter – 10 yard - 1.70 seconds (8.97 RAS)

                               Shuttle – 4.70 seconds (5.35 RAS)

Tyrique Stevenson – 10 yard - 1.49 seconds (9.67 RAS)

                                     Shuttle – 4.41 seconds (2.12 RAS)

Zacch Pickens – 10 yard - 1.67 seconds (9.64 RAS)

                               Shuttle – 4.62 seconds (6.79 RAS)

Roschon Johnson – 10 yard - 1.54 seconds (9.04 RAS)

                                   Shuttle – No testing

Tyler Scott   – 10 yard - 1.50 seconds (9.74 RAS)

                         Shuttle – 4.25 seconds (6.34 RAS)

Noah Sewell – 10 yard - 1.56 seconds (9.52 RAS)

                           Shuttle – 4.37 seconds (5.65 RAS)

Terrell Smith – 10 yard - 1.50 seconds (9.55 RAS)

                           Shuttle – 4.30 seconds (4.46 RAS)

Travis Bell – 10 yard - 1.71 seconds (8.67 RAS)

                      Shuttle – 4.58 seconds (7.43 RAS)

Kendall Williamson – 10 yard - 1.59 seconds (7.28 RAS)

                                      Shuttle – 4.38 seconds (3.82 RAS)

In two drafts, Poles has traded up 1 time and back 6 times. He has taken four P12 players (Gordon, Hicks, Sewell, Williamson) and four SEC players (Jones, Wright, Dexter, Pickens). It's apparent he loved his west coast and southeast scouts. B10 is next with three players (Brisker, Kramer, Smith).

Tyson Bagent has a real chance to stick. I could easily see them cutting Peterman and having Bagent as a healthy scratch each week as the #3. Some thought he could go in round 6.

I got one player correct in my mock draft, the just got him as an UDFA instead of the 7th round.

Agreed...I really like this kid as a development prospect in this scheme.
