PossibleCabbage
Tyler Nubin might have had a dream about playing for the Bears. I had a dream about dinosaurs abusing copyright law in order to subjugate humanity. We are not the same.

Meh. I grew up watching the mid 70's/early 80's Packers, and being a Packer would have been a dream come true.

If so, can VanNess play IDL? I'd be surprised if Verse was on the board when the Packers picked. Pre-Combine, I thought if he didn't test well he'd be available. But I think he and Dallas Turner are probably the first 2 EDGE off the board. Laiatu Latu is probably EDGE3 assuming there's no issues with the medicals. Chop Robinson is probably right on his heels though. After that, it seems kinda clumped.

Just kinda spitballing on the numbers. QB (4) - Williams, Daniels, Maye, McCarthy RB (0) WR (4) - MHJ, Nabers, Odunze, Coleman TE (1) - Bowers OT (4) - Fashanu, Alt, Fuaga, Mims IOL (0) DT (1) - Newton EDGE (4) - Turner, Verse, Latu ILB (0) CB (2) - Wiggins, Mitchell S (0) Those are the guys that I'm pretty confident will be off the board before the Packers' pick. That's 19 guys right there. And that means there's 5 more guys that are potentially in there.

I think he comes off somewhere in that early-to-mid 2nd round. I think Murphy has a LOT of helium right now, and Sweat probably comes off the board sometime in the same range as Jenkins. Brat&Beer
Tanor Bortolini of Wisconsin had the best 3-cone time ever for a Center at the combine. Projected 4th round pick.

Can do some pretty good guessing. But I'm guessing that if we're at 25, hard to list 23 guys as sure to be gone. Might work out that way for sure, but odds are pretty strong that at least one of those 23 guys will still be there at 25. Whether a guy from that group of 23 still available at 25 is a guy Gute wants, I can't say.
