Agreed about them being a tragedy, and I do think McD is on the hot seat. Expectations are sky high, and they’ve already gotten rid of their DC last offseason and now the OC. They’re not getting rid of Josh Allen (even though he’s regressed a lot), so when it’s time for the next change there’s really nobody else left for him to scapegoat. Allen is sure reminding me a lot of Brett Favre at this point. Elite natural arm talent that he has a tendency to rely upon too much, giving a lot of wow plays but a whole bunch of “you just can’t do that” plays too that offset them. Secondly...if Flus & co do somehow survive this season and are back in 2024 we just need to back up a huge dump truck of money on the door step of Justin Madubuike...this defence has needed a true 3-tech for years and he would fit the bill perfectly.
