Now crap all over this idea. 4th and goal from the 1. 12 men on the defense. Adding another 300+ pound guy makes it that much harder for the offense to make the play. Because I would think if there are 12 men on the field, and they haven't used it, you can't stop the play to ask if they want to take the penalty or go forward without potentially disrupting the whole thing. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm open to making it cancel out penalty if they accidentally have 12 out there, but then there wouldn't be a point of declaring it beforehand.
