Jazz wont be bad enough to tank next year.  According to you they have a brighter future than the Rockets with a better record currently.

Need Lauri to fake an injury

Or the Cavs to implode with Don leaving as we have their first round pick + the Wolves FRP

if reed sheppard was three inches taller he’d be the #1 pick

I want him passing lobs to Wemby.

Knecht grows on me every day. Wish he was 2 years younger, but oh well. I'll take him at #7 if the Spurs get that Raptors pick.

Pick #3 - Reed or Topic (Or Sarr/Risacher if Spurs get pick 1 or 2)

Pick #7 - Knecht or Holland or Collier (Have a feeling Raptors get pick 6 and mess this all up tho)

Round 2 - Holmes

Round 2 - Dadiet or Mintz or Ivisic

That's the dream right now.

I think the Pistons are just one more high lottery pick from winning 20 games.

Sadly there just isn't much to get excited about here.  I feel like Sarr is the most intriguing with the defense, size and potential to step outside.  Rissacher feels a lot like Ausur Thompson but with a little more upside.  The rest is a crapshoot.  Knecht would be a good fit but it feels like a Corey Kispert type player that is a solid role player but nothing to get excited about.  Topic is not needed with Ivey and Cade and his game feels a lot like Killian Hayes'.  Same for Sheppard and Dillingham.  Buzelis had an underwhelming year in the G League and feels like the PF version of Ausur Thompson.  Cody Williams is intriguing but raw and although he had a good 3 percentage he didn't shoot much.

I think in a trade down or if we can net a first from Stewart and add Filipowski, Ware or Tyler Smith it would be solid having a stretch 4/5 but wouldn't take either in the top 5.

Just a depressing draft to have a top 5 pick.  Maybe we will trade it for someone exciting but I am not counting on it.

I read that he is shooting well again.

He is definitely a better shooter than Thompson but he isn't the defender of Thompson.  But seems like a similar level of player that could be really good but also could be really bad for a while.  He did have a stretch where he went 8 for 35 from three which sounds a lot like Thompson.  Just sort of sucks that a top 2 player in this draft is probably equivalent as a prospect to someone we got at 5 last year.  Just as much boom/bust potential IMO and I feel like he will either be like Michael Porter Jr. or Alexi Pokusevski.   And unfortunately without a Jokic and Murray, MPJ isn't much to write home about which means that even if he is the pick its a meh kind of draft.

maybe he meant the other way. like if we get rid of one of the lottery picks we can win 20 games again. that theory certain seems plausible. does removing wiseman lead to six more wins? i'd like to think so, but only one way to find out

ausar has way more upside. obviously he can't keep being a 16% 3pt shooter but he was playing borderline all defense level at the start of year, his vision is real, and athletically they aren't on the same planet

if risacher is a 39%+ 3pt shooter i think he caps out as a slightly smaller mpj. if he's a 34% 3pt shooter and not a 39%+ shooter, he doesn't really have much to contribute even as a solid defender because he's not a game changer

My prediction for the top 4.  Keep in mind this is the worst draft I've ever scouted since I started following the draft in 2002 so having a top pick this year isnt a big deal compared to other drafts.

1.  Wizards

2.  Pistons (no way the Pistons have the worst record and pick number 5 again)

3.  Spurs

4.  Grizzlies (7 is the sweet spot.  Teams with the 7th best odds usually move in the top 4 the majority of the time since the new draft change)

no team has ever deserved a draft pick more than detroit deserves #5 this year
