Is that the reason confirmed? Or speculation?

I'm not sure that it matters whether the reason is that Bakh's knee is acting up or simply that he won't be playing on turf this season.  It's pretty bad news either way.

The injury report all three days said, "NIR - vet rest, knee!"

Not injury related is pretty self-explanatory. They are giving his knee rest but it was not injury related. He doesn't want to play on tuft.

At least Patterson is out for ATL. Didn't expect that. As Nagler put it, with two games in 10 days coming up at home, plus getting the W in Chicago, Packers treating this like a house money game. If we pull it out great, no big deal if we don't.

Do you think he's going to be able to turn around and play on 3 days rest? I see no chance of that happening.

Speculation but a reasonable one tbh. We already know their plan with Bak this season and it's that he simply will not practice at all during the week but will then be good to go for the game. He wasn't on the final injury report ahead of last weeks game which was on grass, but was put on it for this week with them playing on turf. We already know his thoughts on turf and he made it very clear again after the Rodgers injury.

Talking about the notion we sat him because we have two games in ten days after this one. NOLA and Detroit at home. Detroit is on Thursday night.

So it was Bak.......yes, I'd think he'd play in the DET game because it's at home....or at least, it's more of a knee health situation. Our other Thursday night game is on the road in DET....in which case, it's probably gonna be a turf issue.
