LaFleur went as far as to say that Bak would be listed as questionable for the rest of the year.

Not surprised.  I think they manage him as best as they can.  Cant argue with his play.

Does anybody here know or have heard what exactly is wrong with his knee?  I know he had fluid issues 2 offseasons ago but never really got a full story on what is going on there.

My assumption is that there is not anything really wrong anymore.  He's an older guy with repaired knees.  He's one of those guys who doesn't need many reps to get ready to play a game.  He needs mental reps and game plan reps.

My guess is he doesnt want to play on turf. Would bet on him missing this one and NY in December. Will be harder for him to miss division games but maybe Detroit and Minnesota too.

He dropped out of the only turf game he was active for last year and Tom finished it out.

It's tough to know too much about either GB or ATL based on their week 1 opponents.  Week 2 should tell us a lot more about both teams.

It's tough to know anything about anyone.... several times a season a team walks into what should be a lighter and barely escapes or gets upset. That's the NFL.

Issue being on week 1 (and 2) we have that super-small sample size, so we don't know what is and what isn't an aberration

I think it's just the vagaries of the new NFL injury report - If something happens where his knee doesn't feel ready to go and he has to sit out a game. the team gets in trouble for it. So he's listed as a Q every week, even though buying some new injury, he'll probably play 14 or more games
