Genuinely cares about his players. He’s absolutely perfect for a Big 12 team or a west coast school. ….. but we need a POS who understands the importance of physicality. And he’d fit right in with our worthless BIG XII coordinator who can shut down lousy offenses despite an inability to get pressure of any sort while running soft zone coverage. He’s not that great of a human being. He bailed on a HS coaches clinic because of a few inches of snow despite them paying hundreds of dollars a pop. Somehow Narduzzi, Fitzgerald, and Ferentz found a way to get there from out of state and Fickell came from Cincinnati, but poor Ryan was stuck in Columbus a few miles away. He has had a great career but we have a ton of five star talent at defensive end. It just hasn’t developed into elite pressure guys since Chase Young.
