Tank4Drake
When you make that much money, I don’t understand the point of gambling in general.
MWil23
One surefire way to kill the sport and cash cow that is the NFL is a player of any kind betting on games, especially ones he plays in. It takes just one legitimate allegation to ruin it, motives for said player don’t matter. Everyone can agree on that and did. No brainer. Louis Friend
So by the “new policy”, they would have only served a two game suspension. Way to make them wait twice as long to “change” it. 😏 Jamo is free!! 🥹

Wyld Stallyns
So Isaiah Rodgers is possibly out for 2 years? Are the Eagles going to hang on to him that long?

I would have to believe the NFL won't retroactively apply the new policy by increasing any punishments.

He was given an indefinite suspension, not a one year suspension.

Soko
I’m fine with the league being heavy handed here. Actually lightened up a few guys’ suspensions too. At this point it’s basically the old weed policy - you can argue till the cows come home how unfair or harmless your actions are, but you know the consequences of them. Yes there’s a level of hypocrisy to it. You know it could ruin your career, so just avoid it. That simple. I don’t feel bad for anyone dumb enough to get busted at this point.
Flounch
It's less risky to beat your wife/girlfriend or killing someone with DUI than betting your own sport
