JohnnyHectorFan
I’m pretty sure this isn’t going to happen because everyone is trying to keep their jobs, but is taking a QB in round one a possibility? If we somehow win this meaningless game today we could drop all the way down to 12 in the draft. I’d be tempted to trade down or take a McCarthy or Penix ( who are projected as mid first rounders). Rodgers kept saying before the season that the plan was to play a few more years and turn the team over to Zach. We know that’s not happening. So why not stick to that plan with McCarthy, Penix or even Bo Nix. Use FA and your other picks for the present but let’s get that QB of the future in the system and let them sit. Again probably a longshot but I would like to see it.
rickyt31
My dream would be for us to be in position to draft a QB early or at least a good development QB. Williams, Maye, Penix, Daniels, Ward, Milton, Travis, and McCarthy are really interesting to me. They'll get to watch Rodgers for a year.

Feel like McCarthy is gonna be good at the next level, maybe not as good as Caleb, Maye, Daniels, or MPJ but I just kinda get that Vibe from him

We can draft a mid round qb this year and/or use a high puck next year on QB but using a high pick now on QB instead of positions like OL or WR seems like bad resource management. I’d be fine with a WR or o-line help but why are you convinced they’ll help Rodger’s with their first rounder. That wasn’t the plan last year when they drafted McDonald. How was that for resource management?

It was stupid then, and knowing now just how poor the line and wr groups are, it would be like even more egregious now.

My faith in Saleh is at 5% right now, so I'm not thinking about him at the moment but I am thinking about the potential offense in 2025 the QB could be walking into. The OL will likely be better with good targets. It could very well be as good as the offense Big Ben started with the Steelers if we do it right.
jetsfan4life51
I really don't want JC Latham, we need a LT and I don't love SEC guys. Too many busts from Alabama on the line. Right now I like Rome at 10 the most I think.
rickyt31
Jordan Love stats after sitting behind Rodgers. 32 Passing TDs 36 Total TDs 4,159 Yards 11 INTS We need to take advantage of developing someone behind him.
jetfan8178
I was concerned about ending up losing draft position as the only hole I dont see us filling in FA is LT but in reality there are guys I like in the teens like Mims, Fuaga and Fautanu. Ultimately if we cant fill the other needs in FA its all irrelevant, and giving up draft capital for Adams is not an option at WR when there is plenty of UFA talent out there. rickyt31
I think we need to tag and trade Huff for a good pick.

On paper it sounds good but it would limit what we can then do in FA. We will only have about $10M to play with if we do that and that is with cuts. doumeyer
Looks like we get the tenth overall pick in the 2024, NFL draft then we don't pick again for about 65 players come off the board.

jetsfan4life51
Keep Huff. Him, JJ and McDonald could be a hell of a trio.
