Or is he just a Grade A idiot that has zero football acumen? Decent business man, terrible football acumen. Credit to Mark for finally pulling the plug, but he only deserves limited praise. Losing to the Lions on National TV by a small margin should not be a backbreaking game for an owner who supports his HC and GM. The end result was expected. Under a different HC, it's just a loss, if not an inspired performance against a team with deep playoff expectations. Pulling the plug was 100% a pressure move to save face against an increasingly loud majority of fans. So I tend to agree with your assessment. If we were going to go all in on Brady, the time was when he left the Patriots and when you wanted him the first time! To double back to Carr after insulting him by benching him seems quite comical.
