Time for payback against the Colts. Basically a Playoff elimination game. Need Aidan to make more plays. Perhaps we get Jacobs back and we can see more. White been outstanding the last two weeks

Gotta stop Taylor and force Minshew to not make plays. If they don’t have Pittman and Moss back it can really limit them.

The Raiders are 3.5 dogs on the road because Vegas doesn't trust the offense against the Colts defense. 

At what point does AP turn to Jimmy G here? The defense can only hold teams off so much. Eventually the offense needs to do something and AOC is proving largely incapable. As limited as Jimmy G is, you can't argue he's not the better QB right now. And maybe outside the JMD structure he'd be able to make some plays in this offense. 

If you want to be a HC, you have to HC things. You can't just blindly let your offense crumble around a QB who is missing easy throws. The Colts can play defense and pressure the QB. AOC either needs to step up or AP needs to make the move to Jimmy G.

The Colts defense isn't very good, they're ranked 22nd in yards allowed / 28th in scoring defense and have been leaky as of late. 

Bruh we just scored 63 points with AOC under center like 13 days ago, lol.

Jimmy G turns the ball over way too much. AOC has at least improved with limiting turnovers. Our QB room is so limited so might as well go with the guy that’s not giving the ball away recently.

True, but AOC didn't complete a pass in 3 quarters last week. At some point you have to move the ball. Defense isn't going to score TDs every week and bail you out.

Most books bake in 3 points in the betting line for home field advantage. Being 3 points road dogs means we would be a Pick ‘em on a neutral field.

Jimmy led the league in turnovers, and we had 0 run game with him in because he cannot push the ball down field. 
 

the D is also playing hard for a rookie.. do they give up if it’s a vet who should be doing better? Ala Carr? 
 

Jimmy is not the answer.

Tough subject but That’s the two issues with Jimmy. Highly turnover prone and even worse, he can’t stretch the field. The run game immediately got better once AOC can in. The defense has to respect the long ball

I think Jimmy would be best serve In relief where a defense can’t plan on him

I think we all want this. The disagreements come when we try and rationalise how best to achieve those ends. There’s more than one way to skin a cat, there’s no sure fire way or else every team would do it.

If we really, really like a guy I don’t mind trading up even if it’s expensive. If the coach I believe in wants to wait and not put all the eggs in the basket of an over hyped prospect and select a mid first in the draft, I’m ok with that too. I think the odds dramatically drop off in the second round and beyond though.
