For the Raiders the last few HCs have been like the “This is fine.” Meme. The team needs a reboot.

Gruden tore it down and rebuilt the team in his image

JMD tried to build off of that core

Now TT/AP are trying to build off that lol

They can be, this purge is inevitable and to be honest it takes a lot of guts to do a reboot. No one in DEN is thinking retooling (which I think is a mindset that’s hampered the raiders since the Gruden days) they have to start over and they should. They’ll suck next season but if they rebuild correctly they’ll be force with Payton.

Two fired regimes by the Raiders have drafted better than Denver has the last 5 years.

I don't think Denver gets credit for burning a historic amount of money in dead cap.

Interesting that the Steelers, a perennial, least stable franchise with a winning history, has interest in Russell Wilson the Broncos let go despite 85 million dead cap that they have to eat. Wonder why they didn't see that as a red flag especially if Russell Wilson can't play.

Because their other options are Kenny Pickett and Mason Rudolph?

#newconstruction lol.

Reminds me of Taylor Homes or whatever your regional mass house building company is. Crappy, shotty foundation that is 100% going to have some flowers growing out of it by year 5, brick facade with vinyl siding on the sides and back, doors that don't quite fit but have fancy curved handles amd a back "patio," that's just a partially covered slab of concrete. Probably built over a sinkhole. Overall cheap as hell to build but going for $500k for a 2-2 because it's "new"

Meanwhile, I bought a rock solid house in upstate NY with 2x the space at half the price because it was built in 1903. Some say it's "old", I say it s a Victorian with a wraparound porch that has withstood the test of brutal winters for over 120 years  and was built before Home Depot or Lowes was around for quick fix repairs. This sucker is the Nokia of houses.

But hes a cancer no good franchises would be interested. Duh

You must have missed the drama with Antonio Brown, Ben Roethlisberger, Martavias Bryant, etc.

It's a franchise that believed Trubisky and Pickett could be good starters too, lol.

No need, Spillane is better imo.

Invest in the front 7 and our LBs will be just fine. They were pretty good this past year considering our patch work DLine.

I’d like to tie him down long term rather than risk losing him next year.

There are literally about 3 LBs in the league who are genuinely good in all areas. It has become such a challenging position to play - so someone competent, who can play the run and make some lays on the ball and who appears to be a leader with the right mindset is worth keeping…

Right so you think they would've like learned right because why would they want another head case especially if he can't play. Because nobody would be interested in that guy right?

I think Devin White can add something that our LBs lack tbh. He would also reunite with his LB coach when he just came into the league. He ain’t gonna cost much so a 1 year deal would be very intriguing

Not good franchises that consistently go to the playoffs over the decades. Not a coach that one two Super Bowls. They would never want to lose their locker room to cancers like that guy. Especially when much better franchises let him go with 80+ mil left on his contract. No way

Yet it still happens. Also those two super bowls are getting a little old. Steelers are undoubtedly better ran than the Raiders but they still make mistakes. One is under center named Kenny Pickett currently.
