JarrodR86 Posted March 13 Share Posted March 13 Hope we can sign DJ Humphries now that he’s been released or Tyron Smith for RT, 1-2 year deal.. stabilize the OLine.. if we can sign GVR or Risner, a starter type at RG as well then I’d be happy heading into the draft.. Munford can be swing tackle depth while he continues to develop. Then draft another OG in round 3/4 that can take over for GVR/Risner in 2025 or fill in due to injury/etc. with OLine set, then we can go BPA in draft or go all in for a QB trade up. Either medical issues, age, inconsistent play, etc. We are now entering the second phase of FA where players will be signing contracts to secure their short-term future, and bet on themselves for another opportunity at a payday. Older FAs will be signing with playoff caliber teams in hopes of winning a SB ring. My thoughts exactly, that’s why I don’t get restructuring contracting to free up space, we have plenty of cap space to sign a few players to help next year without breaking the bank.
