The fake-ness just oozes out of him. Just like Alex Rodriguez, but in a different way

A-Rod is a compulsive liar, phony, and narcissist who fakes self-awareness...but I pity him for his extreme desire to be liked. Ray Ray's fake religious BS is just offensive. I'm really skeptical of Kobe's Black Mamba PR machine, but I'm much more willing to buy that he changed.

It just doesn't make sense to me to do things one way all year, making aggressive calls that get you to the dance...and then turn into a conservative ol' pumpkin who thinks timidly and make decisions in a completely different way.

Those calls are only the "wrong decision" because they didn't work out.

Bosa just said stopping on the 1st 4th down was the turning point in an interview on ESPN

You take the (likely) 3 points, go up 27-10 & its a completely different game. You have to take game script into account. Make it and its a 17 point game with like 22 minutes left in the game. It became a 7 point game with like 18 mins left. We stopped them and the momentum completely changed

I think coaches need to adapt to the moment/game script

Yes. I'd like to think by just law of averages the 49ers can get back to pounding the rock down an opponent's throat like Detroit did to us, and the 49ers defense can get back to stopping the run game for 4 quarters. But yeah, dunno.

49ers should be running the ball a TON against the Chiefs. Their run defense isn't the best. The Ravens not doing it is weird

I mean, I guess. I just personally don’t agree. But I guess it is the old “live by the sword, die by the sword” deal. Personally, I would’ve kicked both field goals but I’m probably a bit more conservative in my approach.

I kinda wonder if this Dan Campbell-Ben Johnson thing will be another Jay Gruden-Sean McVay situation? But to a greater degree because of how far the Lions made it this season.

I imagine you do as I also think you imagine it was DC who called that 3rd down run on the goaline

No clue who called it my dude? I’d assume Johnson called it. McVay had some stupid calls with us as well. Didn’t take away from the entire body of work however.

Bag him for the 4th downs or whatever, but by far the worst call by Campbell (or my future guy Ben Johnson, not sure) was the choice to run the ball on 3rd and goal, and to then burn the timeout.

That ended the game, right there. Just throw the ball on 3rd down, kick the FG if you fail, and most importantly keep your 3 timeouts intact so you can get the ball back if you stuff them. Burning that timeout forced them into the hopeless onside kick. Inexcusably bad decision.

We’ll probably never learn the truth of it, because I don’t see either Campbell or Johnson throwing the other guy under the bus one way or another, but I find it hard to believe Johnson would make that call to run it in that situation without Campbell either a. Telling him to run it or B. Getting Campbell’s sign off.

That is just such a monumentally strategic decision I can’t see being taken out of the HC’s hands in that situation.

The only one I really buy is Vick because he faced real accountability for his actions

When a team is up 17 points at half and that lead evaporates in 1 quarter it is a collective fail.

Failed 4th down.

Cb misses interception ( who knows if the flag thrown would have been called dpi or not).

RB fumbles on 1st play

Offense doesn’t score until under 2 minutes in 4th Q.

Defense couldn't hold.  Offense couldn't score enough.  Questionable coaching decisions.

You have CMC for god sakes lol

Yup. And Kyle Shanahan cooking plays up. Yet it wasn't exactly a smooth operation the last couple of games. We need that "bully ball" vibe Detroit had today!!!
