If you want a good example of this, go back and watch some of MLF's first pressers as head coach. He's like a high schooler giving a valedictory address and fielding questions from parents in the crowd.

Lol how about his introductory press conference with Gutey and MM? He was pretty nervous (understandably). He's gotten a lot better with the media.

I liked the Hafley interview, he seemed fine.  Maybe a little hyper at times, and he had a kinda awkward response when somebody asked about "viper"; he acted like he doesn't use that label, and either he didn't know what that referenced (a bigger-type safety) or else his was a weird response, he didn't actually answer the intent of the question.

I also liked the Steno interview.  He had worked with Hafley some years back, and referenced Hafley as being really smart.  I'm not sure "really smart" was the first thing that jumped to anybody's mind when discussing Barry.  (Not saying he wasn't, every DC in the NFL is variably smart.  But would be fun to have a guy who was smarter-than-average...)

Other interesting note from Steno, he talked about being able to step up the creativity within the passing game.  Last year with all rookies, had to build up the basics, and coaches didn't really know what their guys could and couldn't actually do well.  Now they know the guys, and the guys know the existing routes and plays.  So now can get more creative and add nuance.

We’re going to see interceptions again.

We are also going to see some 80 yard TDs, a few 70 yard TDs, and plenty of 60 yards TDs, to go along with some of those interceptions

Cover 3 inherently safe vs explosives as long as you trust Jaire and Valentine/Stokes to not be beat by speed.

Isn't Haf more cover 1 with the corners playing aggressive?

I expect that to happen more frequently in high leverage situations but nobody is playing majority man in the league. With the rules in place it's too easy to manipulate if you know it's coming.

We won't give up a TD all year. And we'll score 100 of them.
