Raiders sign TE Harrison Bryant (1 year, $3.25M)

Recommended Posts

  • Younger than Austin Hooper
  • basically his replacement as TE2
  • Good PFF grade
  • good blocker
  • has unrealized potential
  • Mayer really hasn’t broke out, so smart to have a solid TE2
  • TE draft class sucks, so we won’t be reaching on a need
  • Nice short term deal money wise, not an overpay like a few other TE deals on day 1

WalterFootball had him as the 6th ranked FA TE:

“Harrison Bryant is an athletic tight end with some upside”

I always thought that Bryant flashed potential but he was always behind Njoku in Cleveland. He's a big athletic TE that could make an impact in the passing game behind Mayer. I guess he'll be our Austin Hooper next season.

What makes you say he 'has unrealized potential'?
