HighCalebR
Been a big LVN day. Also been some tweets about Preston doing his thing. So probably the OL is struggling. Need some Tom so we can just help one or two spots. So close to defensive pushups. Edited July 30 by HighCalebR

Change the link to "twitter.com" somewhere else first (like in a text message thread) before copying/pasting here. If you paste it here and then change it from "x" to "twitter," it won't work.

He played at MVP/All-Pro level for the better part of half a season. Underselling indeed. Rodgers won his last MVP off the strength of half of a great season and Love played just as well, if not better, in a similar stretch. I need to change the URL prior to pasting it into my post.
squire12
from GB reddit Practice is finished - 1 hour and 48 minutes General: Shoulder pads and shorts. Welcome to practice #7 "It is beyond hot out today at Packers Training Camp. Humid and sticky." Packers bring in: Peter Bowden LS (resigned) Don Callis CB Was a participant in the Packers rookie minicamp as a tryout player. LJ Davis (#40 defensive player) Packers released: James Turner K Henry Pearson FB Zyon Gilbert CB Next Event: Open Practice, July 31st 10:30AM CT Injured: Deslin Alexandre DL (lower leg) Keshawn Banks DL (groin) Tucker Kraft TE (pec) Not Practicing / Limited: Caleb Jones OT (hammy, limited) Donovan Jennings G/T (knee, limited) Kitan Oladapo S (toe, limited) MarShawn Lloyd RB (hip, limited) Robert Rochell DB (calf, limited) Zach Tom OT (pec, limited) Zayne Anderson S (knee, limited) Offense: It’s so hot Doubs just ditched his sweatpants for shorts. Great work from Melton shaking Valentine off the line of scrimmage on a slant during one on ones. Really sweet move. Romeo Doubs just went full on air borne with Jaire Alexander in coverage to haul in the TD from Jordan Love. Musgrave TD. Beat McKinney easy. Toure nice out vs Balentine complete. Bullard holds Musgrave. Musgrave with the catch easy. DuBose beats Green on a slant. Hicks just beat Don Callis easy. Starkey beats Bullard. Heath td vs Davis on back shoulder. Doubs nice route but out of bounds vs Jaire. Watson mosses Stokes in the end zone. Not just a speed guy. Watson knows how to use his size too, even against a big corner. Tyler Davis playing H back in first snap of twos Fantastic run by Emanuel Wilson and a nice juke in the open field on AJJ. He’s had the best runs of camp so far. Second team OL: Dillard, Newman, Monk, Newman and Tenuta. Glover rotates in for Tenuta now. Sean Rhyan taking some center snaps with second offense. Fantastic block by Tyler Davis to give Clifford time to find an open Bo Melton downfield but Clifford missed him. Good vision by Wilson but OL gave him a nice lane as well. Didn’t catch who sealed it off. Play-action, Clifford rolls right & hits Musgrave short. Jacobs starts team with a big gain up the middle off counter action. 2 nice runs by Jacobs to start carved out by left side of OL. 1s in team period: Love Jacobs Davis - Musgrave Doubs - Reed Walker - EJ - Myers - Morgan - Telfort Love hits Doubs for about 20. Gains a step on Valentine on deep crosser and love puts it on the money. Packers protections are so well thought out. Gary thought he had the edge…until a sliding TE is there by design to pick him up. Couple short runs by Jacobs. Pocket collapsed on Jordan Love during the red zone drill. Love used his feet to scramble a bit before throwing an absolute dot across his body to Jayden Reed in the end zone for the touchdown. Video of play Clifford threads the needle to hit DuBose in back of the end zone from the 9. For all his struggles in camp, Sean Clifford has an awfully strong arm. Van ness was unblocked to the QB which is usually a problem. Clifford gets the ball out quick though to Melton on an out for a TD with Bullard in coverage. Clifford getting in a rhythm in red zone. Rolls right and rifled a throw past Valentine for a TD to Hicks who held on and got both feet in bounds. Doubs is so nasty in red zone.Stokes had great coverage and Love puts it where only Doubs can bring it in and 87 gets feet down for the TD on third and goal from 4. Hicks gains separation with double move and Pratt delivers a nice pass but Hicks can’t bring it down in back of end zone False start Emanuel Wilson. Easton throws right to Sapp but Sapp can’t hold on either. Eason swing to E Wilson for a play at the goaline. With no tackling it’s a td. Love rolls right and finds Musgrave for a wide open touchdown. A great route by 88 but he clean drops it. Luke Musgrave having a hard time hanging onto the ball today. Video of play Offense does pushups. Defense: Nixon pbu vs Reed Would have been a hold by Stokes on Watson. McKinney pbu vs Musgrave. McKinney good coverage on Musgrave. Nixon good coverage on Reed. Not sure if there was a fumble on the exchange between Sean Clifford and AJ Dillon or Dillon just lost the football - but it landed on the ground and scooped up by the Packers defense. 1s in team period: Gary - Wooden - Clark - Smith McDuffie - Quay - Wilson Stokes - Jaire Williams - McKinney Love fakes a toss, turns to boot…and finds a disciplined Preston Smith right in his face. Great job not biting on the cheese from the vet. Love’s play-action pass rolling left a little high for Davis. Incomplete, but Evan Williams nearly picked off deflection. Bullard all over a checkdown to Dillon. Arron Mosby just walked Wilson about 7 yards into the backfield. Not an advantageous matchup for a RB. Hopper all over a Wilson run. Jonathan Ford is having his best camp. Getting into the backfield. Stacking players in the run game. He’s taken a step. Karl Brooks just completely reset the line of scrimmage vs Jordan Morgan on a Jacobs run. McDuffie all over an inside Jacobs run. Cooper stuffs a Dillon run. Gary probably would’ve had a sack on the Love to Reed play. Van Ness gets a sack on Clifford but Teflort did a nice job on him in pass pro. Clifford ran into it. Devonte Wyatt sack on Clifford who won in about a millisecond. Number one defense stays strong on first two red zone plays. Checkdown to Musgrave for nothing and incomplete after Love bought time. Love throws McKinney a gift int in the back of the end zone but 29 can’t hang on. Sprint right in red zone never works. And predictably - it didn’t work. Defense all over it. Nice inside move from LVN to blow up play and would’ve sacked Eason. LVN won again on the play to Sapp. Jonathan Ford wins inside for a potential stop on Wilson. McKinney has been a menace in red zone. He’s been around nearly every ball Three safety look with Bullard and Williams on the field with McKinney during end of game red zone work. Keisean Nixon pass breakup on first down. Next play Love throws to Watson at the goal line and it’s picked by Stokes. Video of pick Defense wins the day again. Special Teams: Carlson Goes 3/3 from 33, 38 and 48. Goes 2/3 from 42R and 54L but wide right from 41L. A high snap on his miss, but Daniel Whelan handled it. 21/24 in camp Joseph From 33, 38 and 48 goes 3/3. Goes 3/3 from 41L, 42R and 54L. 22/24 in camp Media: Players taking the field Bike protocols? Rookie safety Kitan Oladapo will make his camp debut at practice today. “Stokes has looked like the guy we thought he could be.” When asked if any player plans to wear the guardian caps during games: "We've presented that that's an option, but I haven't heard. If a guy wants to do it, that's their prerogative." Compliments Daniel Whelan and says he’s been "outstanding". He’s the only player without any competition on the roster. On CB Kalen King: "Like all young players, he's trying to figure it out. He had a really good day the other day, had a couple PBUs. Obviously, the pick was huge. ... I've definitely been impressed with how he approaches the game and how he competes." For Live Updates: Click Here!

Wouldn't be surprised if Ford ends up being traded. He's far from a world beater, but he's a guy that could eat some snaps for a team looking for a fatty. Just don't think we've got the reps for him. I was just thinking, "who gets pushed out to make room for him?" The only person who it could possibly be is Wooden and sounds like the added weight has made him a new player as well. Who knows, maybe Ford goes on to have a Mike Pennell type of career.
