Eagles extend WR AJ Brown (3 years, $96M, $84M gtd)

Can’t help but think this is pressure on Hurts. FO clearly telling him, he needs to perform, you have your pieces. Cause if this year is a dumpster fire, Howie’s looking for an upgrade.

His contract and how its structured makes it hard to move off him any time soon. Not that it would stop Howie from looking for another option if he does fall off, but hopefully that doesn't happen cause it will really hurt us.

But, yeah.... Hurts has all of the help on offense he needs. Hopefully he bounces back with a healthy season more like 2022.

Take a look at his pre and post trade/cut in 2025. It’s drastic.

Man, it feels good to have not one but two of these guys after all those years. Glad Howie realized he had to hold onto that.

A least a couple year break from all the made up trade drama, hopefully.

Most his high end  stays were top 10. The scheme sucked and he was very unlucky with turnovers.

I’d agree. But his decision making had noticeably taken a hit. And was about 2/3 the rusher he was the previous year. A good QB can’t lose 8 games out of 9 or whatever we did.
