You have to be kidding me. We are just not meant to reach QB mountaintops. 
 

Heard someone say this could be due to the staff and coaches trying to get him to change the way he stands and throws. Anyone think this is true?

While it is disheartening for McCarthy, I don’t see this impeding his progress. He was never supposed to be the day one starter anyway. Hopefully he follows the Karl Anthony Towns timeline and can start getting meaningful work in sooner rather than later.

far more likely that it happened when he got hit or when he was scrambling.

The run on 3rd and 12, right before the 2:00 warning, is where I would make my guess. He plants on his right leg and gets twisted down by a defender.
