Old Guy
Gotta love this kid, but he's sort of talking like he was a part of last year. Love the confidence and the potential he sees in his new team. Josh Jacobs - 4.64s & 223lbs (Speed is overlooked because he is NFL proven) Marshawn Lloyd - 4.46s & 220lbs (3rd Round) Jarveon Howard - 4.46s & 219lbs (Undrafted) Lew Nichols - 4.61s & 220lbs (7th round) Ellis Merriweather - 4.68s & 220lbs (Undrafted) Emanuel Wilson - 4.57s & 226lbs (Undrafted) AJ Dillon - 4.53s & 247lbs (2nd Round) Patrick Taylor - 4.57s & 217lbs (Undrafted) Not quite 220 but close enough. So more like 215+, but semantics. Gute likes boys with sand in the pants. Inertia and such, and protecting the QB.

No. You are dead wrong. More like 217+ <<walks away, single finger in the air, his internet forum work having been done for the day>>

Quay is basically just running a pursuit drill straight laterally to the sideline; the speed at scale is always wild from him but at the end of the day this is just Lloyd running out of room. CB does his job as the force player, safety has the alley, this is just solid run defense. A lot of LBers would make this play, but even if they don't have the wheels to make the tackle like Q Lloyd is in a tough spot to make something happen here. Cooper took a great angle and scraped the back of the jersey off his DL, just made the cardinal sin of lowering his head and lunging from a chase position instead of getting his head across. Didn't help that the run fits here are sort of sabotaged by the play call, DE and DT both slant to the offensive left to try and draw blockers away from 43 on the blitz.
