Chase has a higher ceiling than anyone since Calvin Johnson if you ask me. Justin Jefferson is just something different and he just went through any sort of projected ceiling anyone had.

Why though? 'Ceiling' is normally based purely on physical traits, as those are what you cannot change. Height, weight, speed, hand size, agility, etc. Like, I'd argue Bryce Ford-Wheaton technically has a higher ceiling than any of these guys (not including Megatron) because his physical makeup and testing numbers were so absurd. He'll never reach it, but his ceiling is higher because he's bigger, faster, quicker, and stronger than just about every WR to ever come into the NFL. Malik Nabers and Ja'Marr Chase are almost identical in every way, physically. Their combine/pro day numbers even are nearly identical.

Nabers will "bust" for the first 3 years while they continue to try to make Daniel Jones a thing, he will request a trade and become a consistent 75 catch 1300 yard guy for the rest of his career.

Nabers will probably do that his rookie year. He is one of the more dynamic players in the league with the ball in his hands. Corners fear his speed, and he eats up the cushion very quickly and blows by them. Menace with the ball in his hands. He should get 100+ targets with ease.

I feel like Daniel Jones has the longest leash of any top drafted QB I can remember.

It's because of the timing of when he had his decent season. It forced the giants to sign him to a big deal. Now they are stuck hoping.

Was a Rome guy before the draft and still is. As I said before he has a lot of Larry Fitzgerald to his game, in any other year he would easily be WR1

Ima say it and sound like a hater. But there so many more WRs I’ll take over Larry it’s not even funny… I always cringe when people hold Larry in this pedestal of the Elites. There’s so many more WRs I’ll take over Larry it’s not even funny. Anquan struck way more fear in me than Larry ever did.. Like I said a hater but it is what it is. Larry benefited from long career that had one epic post season run! But besides that’s he always bleh to me. Just a super solid WR. I put him in the Alshon Jeffry role.. A dude who knew how to use his size but left a lot to be desired.

I want my WRs to be fast and explosive.

Justin Jefferson

guys who can make it happen. Also, please spare me of the QBs he played with. Anquan played with the same QBs and he always cooked us! He had better #s vs the Rams than Larry ever did.

Larry was a taller Reggie Wayne get at me.

I think we forget how explosive young Larry Fitz was, since he played for so long and obviously declined in that area over the years.

I do agree about the fast and explosive part though. Nabers was my WR1 this class because he plays like he's got a jetpack strapped to his back. So fast, so explosive, and he's able to stop on a dime (and crucially, not get hurt when doing that [Kadarius Toney]).

Rams is wack. Would you take Romeo or Puka going forward. Puka has the worse ras ever

You said you like your WRs explosive, didn't you? I thought you were implying Rome wasn't that.

Puka's RAS told the right story as far as the measurables involved are concerned. He's not incredibly fast or explosive. He's smart, runs great routes and is incredibly strong with the ball in his hands. Those facets of his game aren't covered under RAS.

If you're looking at a Megatron, TO, Moss style receiver RAS will tell you a lot. If you're looking for the best possible version of Wayne Chrebet (like Puka seems to be) it won't tell you anything.

RAS is just a tool but it definitely isn't (or at least shouldn't be) used as a player grade.

RAS is pretty important to me, but if you have great college tape, and are at least 5’10”, the rest of the numbers don’t matter to me. His tape was awesome.
