Lmao what? Who was giving him even half of that on the open market?

After this season if he was to hit FA? All these teams would be in the mix depending how their current QB situation plays out in 2024-2025

Giants

Steelers

Titans

Raiders

Panthers

Seahawks

Jets – If Rodgers retires

Cowboys – If they don’t up Dak, which I am sure they will

Saints – If they move off from Carr, maybe a year too soon?

If anyone still thought Dak wasn't going to get the highest deal in NFL history if he hits the open market, I feel like that's basically guaranteed now.

Seems like a lot for a guy who has demonstrated success only when propped up by outstanding coaching and teammates.

In which case he should have lots of continued success in the years to come.

ill take it.

This is pretty much the way of it. Even if he is reliant on his situation ( no shame, most are ), Detroit has a really nice set up for a few years to say the least.

Nothing to really concern yourself with in terms of his overall performance.

Will he have enough in the tank and enough on the defense side to help push him over the edge to win a super bowl? I dunno. Winning super bowls is hard

I love it for my guy Goff. He deserves every penny of it. I dont want to hear no nonsense of he didnt deserve it or he is overpaid. What he means for the Lions organization is invaluable. Dude showed that he can lead the franchise to heights theyve never seen in a long time if not ever.

Ironic coming from a team that was desperate for a franchise QB

Getting chastised by a Lions fan about being desperate for a quarterback is really my thesis for why Cleveland is the most miserable fan base on the planet.
