Alright! Time for me to jump in the shower & get ready for an awesome day!

Gonna throw on my new good luck Jayden Daniels Jersey my wife got for me a couple weeks ago on eBay. (I sure hope it's good 🤞 luck)

🥂 To hopefully the greatest opening day start, by a Rookie QB of All-Time.

We're going to play so good today, they'll be talking Superbowl after just week 1. 😁 😁 😁

See ya guys/girls in the game day thread after a while.

Oh yea....Go Vikings & Browns!

https://www.commanders.com/news/inactives-commanders-vs-buccaneers-week-1

Our inactives are:

No. 15 QB Sam Hartman (Emergency QB)
No. 22 S Darrick Forrest
No. 45 LB Dominique Hampton
No. 75 G Chris Paul
No. 85 WR Noah Brown
No. 95 DT Jer'Zhan Newton

No surprises. I suppose Brown's not ready to go yet. Still getting accustomed to the playbook.

Noah Brown being an inactive is a bit of a surprise but as you said, maybe he doesn’t have the offense all down yet.

Som e intersting numbers based on each teams stats from last yr

Tampa Bay allowed the third-highest passing yards per game, the eighth-highest yards per attempt, and the 12th-most passing touchdowns

The Bucs ranked 21st in pressure rate last year. If that holds up in Week 1, Daniels should have time in the pocket to burn them deep. Last season, Tampa Bay allowed the second-most passing touchdowns and the eighth-highest deep completion rate.

Last year, Tampa Bay allowed the fifth-fewest rushing yards per game while giving up the fifth-lowest missed tackles per attempt and the seventh-lowest yards after contact per attempt

Bucs allowed the eighth-most receiving yard  to perimeter wide receivers.

Tampa Bay was ripped apart by tight ends giving up the second-most receiving yards.

on the flip side

Last year, Tampa Bay allowed the fourth-lowest yards per reception and the eighth-fewest receiving touchdowns to backs

Washington allowed the sixth-most rushing yards per game

Washington allowed the most passing yards per game and passing touchdowns while also surrendering the third-highest yards per attemp

Last year, Washington was tough against tight ends

Commanders’ run defense were a bottom-five  last season.
