Well the Bills defense was already undergoing a transition year (losing Poyer and Hyde), then Matt Milano tore his bicep a month ago and then our all pro nickel CB Taron Johnson breaks his forearm last week and is now out. Sucks! So Miami will def attack the safeties, nickel CB and OLB. Reasons for optimism on Bills defense: Greg Rousseau is primed for a break out year and Von Miller calls him a top 5 edge player in the league LOL. He had 3 sacks in week 1 and was defensive player of the week. Von Miller also looked like old Von in week 1. Then they have Ed Oliver who is very good and two underrated CBs.

DL and boundary CBs = good. Safeties and inside CBs = not good.

On offense Josh Allen always destroys the Dolphins lol. Dolphins also lost Wilkins and Van Ginkel from last year with an injured Jalen Ramsey and Bradley Chubb on the PUP. The Bills O and Allen should put up points.

I'll go Bills 35-Dolphins 30 in a shoot out but I see it going either way.

It's the josh allen show this year for the bills and I think he's going to show out.

McDermott is going to have to scheme and coach his defensive butt off until he gets some of his injured players returning.

A few thoughts:

-BUF D is nowhere near the same unit as before.    Both safeties gone,  Milano out.   The D operates via Milano and the safeties.   The only reason ARI didn't score more (outside of a missed read on Marvin Harrison Jr for a TD) was the wind basically neutered the pass O for 2/4 quarters (worked for both teams, not talking about who should have won, but why the ARI O didn't go HAM).

-MIA losing their 2 best RB's does hurt where they could exploit BUF the most....but they still have Waddle/Tyreek.   Waddle's a zone buster, I already bet on him at close to opening, but I think both thrive.

-BUF's commitment to run more and use James Cook as both a receiver and runner should help to try and keep the MIA off the field and the Bills D more fresh.    The interesting part is that Jalen Ramsey isn't afraid to shadow, but unsure who he'd take out.   Khalil Shakir IMO is by far the best WR of the group, and he has an absolute killer matchup vs. the MIA slot CB.   If Ramsey takes Shakir out, then you look to the other BUF WR's.

-Josh Allen can't turn it over, given the need to protect his D.    If he doesn't, his legs & arms are such a mismatch for MIA.

If this was a SUN game, I'd hope we see a shootout, albeit with more running than I think ppl are expecting (overall trend to use more running).   Short week, MIA missing Mostert and Achane iffy (GTD).....please, let this be a fun O night for TNF.

P.S.   If we could get some TD's from MIA's FB Ingold (fun fact - even with Jeff Wilson dressed last week, Ingold was the short-yardage RB, and went 3/3 in converting 1st downs <GL vulture time???> & BUF's GL back Ray Davis, that would be swell too.  😁

Kinda torn. Normally if it’s even semi-close, I roll with the home team for TNF. Plus it’s Miami outside the cold. But it’s also winning team Buffalo + no Mostert, questionable Achane. I’ll circle back.

Doesn’t Josh Allen own the dolphins! Easy money.

11-2 vs the dolphins. 41 TDs-13 turnovers. Thrown 2+ TDs in all 13 matchups and won AFC player of the week in 5 of the 13 matches lol. Idk why but he loves playing the dolphins.
let’s see if McDermott can scheme up the D against this speed.

Should be a good one!

I still have no idea who is Josh Allen throwing to this year

Dalton Kinkaid, Keon Coleman and a bit of Khalil Shakir. Shakir is little and shifty and tough leader type guy. He's got a little bit of ARSB to him.
