I’ve said for a long time that some coaches try to outsmart themselves.  Payton might be deluding himself into believing the kind of personnel he can win with, and wrapped up in being the ‘offensive genius’ tag he has. 

Pretty crazy how the offensive personnel has downgraded during his tenure there.

I’m a relative new guy, I joined after the board software switch in 2017 but I lurked for a bit.  I ran two other forums before joining here though.

Hope his legs get feeling back, I've seen that before irl where someone gets an impingement and then like five minutes later whatever was about to burst in the spine goes and they just, lose their legs. Didn't check back in so hopefully it's not that.
