That's actually quite a lot which means he's 100% our new punter for next season. Really? Damn. Punters must come really cheap.

If this is true, given the state of our ST coverage unit, whoever told Crosby not to kick a TB every single time around should not only be fired, but probably shot as well. He / they were probably fired. As for being shot as they head out the door.....I hope not.

So you're like me in the belief that Crosby's leg strength hasn't completely dried up?

No, he was 3/4 from 50+ last year. Anybody who can kick a 50 yard FG in a game situation can easily kick it out of the back of the endzone.

Leader
Tom Silverstein - The ackers had a choice to restructure either S Adrian Amos or DL Dean Lowry. They chose Amos and lowered his cap number down from $11.982M to $7.278M by converting base salary into signing bonus and adding voidable years. Likely they'll use Lowry's number later on. Can you prove it using some sort of modifier for all the kickers out there kicking a football all season vs a football for half the season and a rock with 25mph winds for the other half? That performance alone was bad enough to pull him down to the conversation of "Average Kicker" assuming the rest of the year had gone perfect for him.

We replaced the entire operation, twice this year. Can't blame him with that small sample size. If the best golfer in the world gets a new set of clubs and struggles the first time out there, does he suck? You should expect any kicker to routinely be bottom 1/2 of the NFL kicking in these conditions. Be it Crosby or the next guy.

Corey Bojorquez was the holder for the entire season. Hunter Bradley was the Long Snapper for 8 games. Steven Wirtel was the Long Snapper for 9 games, plus 1 playoff game.
