The Packers will travel 17,794 miles for their regular season schedule in 2022 and travel through 22 time zones to do so. The other teams in the NFCN are Chicago with 10,086, Detroit 8,348 and Minnesota 18,360.

A bit misleading seeing how 7.6k is one trip.

GB first trip for international game.  Other teams been through this already

For sure, but I think he's just saying aside from that one game they have a pretty light travel schedule

the international game counts as a Packers 'Home' game correct?

Kinda weird since the addition of a new reg season game each team would have had a 9th home game either last year or this year, and the Packers would be the only team not too... that means they'd only actually get a 9th home game once in 4 years in the new format?

They definitely need to balance that out in the rotation. Not that GB should get special treatment (jk, they always should) but being the smallest market by far in the league, the local economy has a huge % dependency on those home games. Best thing to do, keep winning and get those post season games at home.

Wasn't one of the reasons the NFL wanted to go to 17 games was that every team could be guaranteed 8 home games even when the NFL plays more international and neutral site games?

For sure, but part of the sell was that teams could squeeze another regular season home game out of that from time to time.   GB was the only team that hadn’t traveled yet because they have the unique position of being so important to the local economy and very few teams wanting to give up hosting GB because those games tend to sell out even when they are the road team. I’m just saying the Packers need to enjoy an extra home game every now and then just like the other teams will. I have no doubt it will be redistributed in a socialist league like the NFL.

I'm even more shocked Alexander didn't make the 53.

Nope, he's there too.

Before anyone else comments on a missing player, everyone important is on both depth charts.
