Health and Melton are not supposed to be more than complimentary pieces in any offense. It’s also why I’m tired of Kraft hurdling guys. No point in his hurdling either .. he's basically hurdling himself out of bounds and getting banged up in the process. It is what it is at this stage. The die is cast. It's baked into the cake. It's done. The defense is what it is and will be till next year and a new DC runs things. My only wonder is if the players have in fact tossed in the towel. That would be unfortunate, but possible. We watched some real NFL level defenses last night. Hopefully we reach that level again. I was fairly pleased with the first half performance from the D .. they were way more aggressive and made things a little tougher on Bryce Young. In the second half it was back to the soft vanilla stuff, and the kid picked them apart, particularly in the 4th quarter. It's just not in Barry's DNA to play an aggressive brand of D.
