I don't think it's blasphemy to believe that. But if that fired up the boys then so be it. If Ryan got injured last week, I'd have said we were gonna roll the Falcons. Even with Foles. Think it is more about the disrespect of being the first one seed to be underdogs vs a six seed in NFL history. Pretty much everyone was picking the Falcons to win and understandably so. I heard several times about how they had a bulletin board up throughout the facilities of all the negative articles and all the experts picking against the Eagles. It was unprecedented, but not unexpected and seemed inevitable (if Brady or Peyton ever went down in weeks 14-17 we'd have seen it already). Still has to put a chip on their shoulder, as its' basically everybody thinking just 1 man was responsible for all your hard work and 13-3 record.
