Fun fact. The Chicago Bears have never had a quarterback throw for 4000 yards in a season.

I wonder if they are the only team in the NFL with this dubious distinction.

They are, though you can make a case for two technicalities; the Tennessee Titans(whose only 4000 yarders hailed from their Houston Oilers days) and the Cleveland Browns(Brian Sipe hit the mark once with their prior outfit, while the version of the team that was revived in '99 has none).

Speaks to how bad they are at the quarterback position historically.

Bears also don't have a 30 TD pass season.

LOL! Maybe they should go back to running a wishbone offense. With Fields, this may be their best chance to have success on offense.

Well, I guess the Vikings were looking to improve their speed at wide receiver:

Quote

Minnesota Vikings rookie receiver Jordan Addison was cited Thursday morning for speed and reckless driving after an officer clocked him driving 140 mph on a freeway just outside of St. Paul, according to an incident report from the Minnesota State Patrol.

Addison, the No. 23 overall pick of the 2023 NFL draft, was not arrested, but the investigation into the incident is ongoing.

How powerful is the NFL? You can be as bad an owner as Dan Snyder and sell the team for 6 billion dollars.

They weren't powerful enough to make him sell for any less than he wanted. Sports franchises in general are increasing in value at ridiculous rates.

are you sure the other owners wanted him to sell for less?   it is in their best interest for the sale to go for as much as possible as it increases the value of their franchise.   Just like if you neighbors house is increased in value, your house also gets a bump in value
