He's on Seattle's Reserve list. Footsy did an odd thing this year in that he choose to use his 3 Up on a guy eligible for a 5th year tender. It's legal just unorthodox. In this case it will allow you to mirror Lewan's new deal at the 2018 3 Up rate of 85% of his new contract. Which would look like this. NFL Deal = $88,500/6 years ($14,750/yr) New 3 Up BDL deal would look like this $77,225/6 years ($12,538/yr) So it would be a substantial increase over his current $7,940/1 year deal.
